Lynda Carter Returns to Hero TV in CW's Supergirl

Supergirl scores another A+ Cast Member to their Second Season Roster!

First Tyler Hoechlin from Teen Wolf as Superman and now Lynda Carter will play the United States President in Season 2 of Supergirl. According to THR and Producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg, Carter was always the plan for this role. Her schedule didn't work out during Season 1, so they postponed the character's arrival until Season 2.

Lynda Carter's first major role was as Wonder Woman in the 1975 TV Series. The Show was the first major live action adaptation of the Comic Book series, it lasted until 1979. In the years since, no one else has rallied the popularity Lynda had as the Amazonian Princess, until the DCEU's Gal Gadot. Ms. Carter has had many roles since her heroine days, including, but not limited to reoccurring roles in 1984's Partners in Crime and 1994's Hawkeye. More recently she has guest starred on Hope and Faith (2003), Law and Order: SVU (2005), Two and a Half Men (2013), and Smallville as Chloe Sullivan's mother in 2007. She also had roles in feature films like, Super Troopers (2001), The Dukes of Hazzard (2005), and Sky High as the Superhero's High School Principal in 2005.

Lynda Carter will return to TV in a reoccurring role on CW's Supergirl. Her first appearance will be in Episode 3 of the new season!
